  • Unexpected but brilliant

    I purchased this book purely because I enjoy Sarah's work as a comic and as a positive female figure, I didn't read the blurb, I presumed it to be an autobiography. I was therefore surprised to find that although it had autobiographical traits, it is more so the biography of a female body (Yes I know it states this on the front cover!) The book covers many topics from attraction to procreation and it's written with wit and fact. I enjoyed how this book made me consider things in ways I hadn't previously and how it taught me new things. I found myself pausing the book on a number of occasions to further research something Sarah wrote about which I guess was part of the books intention. A throughly enjoyable read.
