    I stumbled upon this novel by chance and after reading the book blurb, I thought it worth a try. I soon became frustrated with the depiction of women, pedestrian plot - nothing really happens and snobbery. Sadly, the novel to me failed to live up to expectations.

    This is the first of Jill's titles that I have read and I was not disappointed in the least. Fantastic plot, engaging characters and written so well that you can lose yourself in the story. It's such a heart warming story that you can't help but smile as you read it. I absolutely loved it and will be stocking up on all titles now as Jill Mansell is officially on my favourite authors list! I look forward to my next read

    I read a lot of books and this for me was one of those books you could easily pass time on. An easy read, not very much imagination and events are just waaaay to good to be true.

    I wanted an easy to read, entertaining, girly book after having read a few great, but very serious books in the past few months. This one is exactly what I wanted. Very engaging with no faffing around, funny and it puts you in a good mood. Haven't read anything else from this author but 'The One You Really Want' is definitely something you'd like to take on your summer holiday to help you relax.
