    This was a one-off purchase, something when I was bored - however it gripped me with its story line & I can't wait to read part 2. Well written, and a fantastic story.

    I purchased this to read on holiday, but as I started to read a couple of pages as I first downloaded it, I was over half way through by the time my holiday came around. Excellent reading, I'm about to start part 2 now.

    Pros: a very easy read, finished it in a day. Cons: Quite quickly into the book I stopped liking or rooting for the main character. This is probably what the author wants (at least I hope so), it is not clear. The situations are just thrown together without any background or substance to the main character. There is continuous bloodlust and revenge, all gratuitous for the sake of it. The author's stereotypes are awful and apparently all Muslim men drink and cheat. Women hardly feature at all. The writing just feels lazy. I won't be continuing with parts 2 & 3.
