    Where to start I am dyslexic and never liked reading but my girlfriend suggested to me this book as the films out so I thought why not and must say this book has been such a page turner and loved it such a heart felt book it's a must read in my eyes

    I have found the author of this book extremely judgemental, which for me ruined the story. I don't usually leave reviews of any sort, good or bad but after reading how this man talks about others in a stereotypical, judgemental and demeaning way I really had to stop reading. After seeing this book advertised I was really looking forward to reading this, I love a story about animals and a rags to riches tale but the final straw that stopped me carrying on reading this was when he wrote all staffy owners are arseholes. I don't need to read someone's horrid outlook about others, I also find his woe is me attitude annoying. This story would of been a much better, enjoyable read if it wasn't for these two facts.

    I loved this read! Not only because of James and Bobs relationship but of the truth of the daily struggles and triumphs on the streets of London, so honest and true! I hope one day to have the pleasure of meeting them when I'm next in London! A very easy 5 star read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • A wonderful, heart warming amazing story!

    I've loved reading this book and it has really made me smile (which is hard at the moment). It's a story of harsh reality on the streets of London,but mixed with hope and love as James discovers he has a friend in his darkest hours. It's witty and hard to not read the whole thing at once but I wanted to read a bit at a time to savour it (which is not like me as I'm not a big reader) as it was such a lovely read. Bob is the most cool Cat and a real character and cat lovers will love this book even more. I used to have a cat called Bob too :-) Excellent book, highly recommend!

    First non technical book I have read in all of forty years. I mainly only read technical and mechanical books and technical reviews on things. I picked this book and amazed myself by reading it from cover to cover. A nice light easy read, relaxing and I was drawn into it. Perhaps it's the one to turn me into a "Bookworm" after all we all need to relax a bit and take stock of things as James did!
