The Astra Militarum is an army of regimentation and proud tradition, with soldiers drawn from across the length and breadth of the Imperium. Their uniforms and iconography reflect this strict adherence to military organisation, and whether it is the Scions of the Militarum Tempestus, the Imperial Guardsmen of Cadia or the tanks of an armoured formation, each bears the colours and symbols of regiment, company and squad.     I found this a great guide on how to paint my Imperial Guard as with the interaction of the steps, it allows you to focus on each step without jumping a step. It also great if your army is for grassland themed. I would rate this 5 stars but it doesn't really show the difference very clearly on the steps that adds small details making it hard to know where to add the detail. Also another thing is it only does grassland and no urban or winter, but it does show you some good techniques that if you swap the colours around the guide would still help a lot. As a conclusion for 249 pages for roughly £15 it's great and I would recommend it to any Guard player who has just started out.
